As of Monday, May 14, the Morinville Fire Department has issued a Fire Advisory for the Town of Morinville. Due to the dry conditions and the possibility of extreme grass fires, Morinville Fire Department is asking all residents to exercise caution when using their approved/permitted fire pits. The 2018 Resident Survey opens Monday, May 14. The survey is intended to determine satisfaction with such things as civic services, financial planning & communication. If you are a not-for-profit organization, community group, team, organization or association of Morinville and have projects that benefit our community, you may qualify for assistance through the Community Grant Program. Street Sweeping: Street Sweeping will officially begin next week (with one sweeper) and the following week (May 7) with a second sweeper – weather permitting. Please obey any no-parking signs that may be placed on your street to assist with the efficiency of this program.

Public Hearing & Notice to Electors | Advertising Bylaw 6/2018: The purpose of Advertising Bylaw 6/2018 is to allow for additional methods (electronic advertising) of giving notice to residents for advertising a proposed bylaw, resolution, meeting or public hearing. 2018 Toilet Rebate Program: Morinville is offering a rebate to residents, rental properties and business owners to encourage the replacement of old and inefficient toilets with low-flush or dual-flush toilets to reduce water consumption.
