Our thoughts are with Humboldt: The tragedy of the Humboldt Broncos hockey team has affected many from across the world, within Canada, and right here in Morinville. Mayor & Council invite residents of Morinville to sign the book of condolences, which will be shared with the City of Humboldt Mayor & Council. Books are set up in the Town Hall lobby or the MCCC foyer.
2018 Toilet Rebate Program: Morinville is offering a rebate to residents, rental properties and business owners to encourage the replacement of old and inefficient toilets with low-flush or dual-flush toilets to reduce water consumption. The program is retroactive to January 1, 2018. Access complete details including program requirements and application form.
Budget 2018: At the February 27 Council Meeting, Council passed 3rd Reading of the 2018 Operating Budget and 2018-2037 Long Range Capital Plan. Amendments by Council through 2nd and 3rd Reading culminated in the proposed 6% tax increase decreasing to an approximate 1% tax increase. Thank you to all for your engagement and input into Budget 2018.
